Last early Sunday morning, Kev lay in bed after the mundane night out in Walsall and practiced playing his bass. The room was filled with darkness apart from the dim yellowish light in the corner of the room, highlighting the most minute details. I used a slow shutter speed to lighten the room slightly and tried to stay as still as possible. These photographs show the end of the night, when a person is alone, with the thoughts that haunted him all night, reminiscing. For me these photographs capture that. I manipulated the images by converting them to black and white because again I’m unsure whether I prefer them in colour or black and white.
