We were asked to create drawings of one another to understand the weight of the human body, capturing shapes and movement. The task was helpful in understanding what key moments or features were the most important or relevant to capture. We had to draw our partners in set time periods from thirty seconds to two minutes. This stretched my abilities in capturing the human form and loosened me up in terms of using only lines, not removing the pen from the paper to create shapes or a portrait or to create them in seconds. It was a really interesting task. Below is my sketch from the workshop.
